About
Erin Murphy was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan but moved out west at the age of 18 to attend Cal Poly SLO to pursue her passion for architecture and design. Over those 5 years she laughed, cried, drank too much caffeine, and persevered her way through Cal Poly's highly ranked architecture program. After graduation she lived and worked in Ireland as a graphic designer for 18 month. Due to visa complications she was forced to moved back to Detroit in late 2018. Since returning stateside Erin has working on various freelance projects, taught art classes at the local art center, had art pieces shown at a local exhibit, ran the Arts Program at Camp Daggett, and even took up latte art.
Erin then decided to put her degree to use and started working as an architectural designer in August 2020. Erin has enjoyed dipping her toes in the architectural world, but still feels that something is missing. She wants to transition back to the world of digital design.
